Freestates of Thyresh

The Freestates of Thyresh fragmented from the Empire of Caryadis, beginning approximately 300 years after the establishment of that Empire, during the decline of its Golden Age in 300 YS (approximate 3200 years ago). Beginning with the signing of the Accords of Free Worship, called heresy by the Caryadan Church. The so called "Thyrian Schism" lasted nearly 500 years, during which time, more than 200 independent city-states were established under the Accords. The Freestates further fragmented in the Principalities of Maltesh and the Slave States during the Saltyrian Upheaval in 3392 YS (approximately 300 years ago).
