Returning from a night in Uptown, the party is accosted right outside their inn by a group of crossbow wielding thugs. Mungo is present, apparently leading the thugs, but does not participate in the fight.
Rather than surrender any money, Ali throws a knife and leaps to a nearby rooftop, initiating combat. Most of the thugs are disabled in the first round and the rest flee, including Mungo, who walks away down a dark alley.
Dorian pursues a thug and guts him. Xandessa follows Mungo, and gets clubbed into unconsciousness. Eriola rounds the corner and gets clubbed into unconsciousness. Telecus follows Eriola and manages to withstand the initial assault, only to wind up with a badly broken hand. By the time Ali arrives, Mungo has escaped across the rooftops.
The group retreats to the Prancing Pony Inn after looting the remaining thugs, and rests until morning.
