Andrew's recollections

This is the game in which (thanks to Sergeant Steelheart) the bears armed themselves with Care Grenades and AKare-47 Assault Rifles before heading down to Earth. As a result, most of the action sequences turned into firefights. It's a good thing zombies are vulnerable to Caring attacks.

Highlights included Sergeant Steelheart startling the whole team by pulling out a .45 automatic (a real one, not the Care attack kind) and blasting away; Biker Dyke Bear using her stare on anyone who annoyed her to "make them her bitch;" Particle Bear doing reconnasance by slipping through the cracks in locked doors; Chocoholic Bear turning the alien hellbeast into a solid chocolate alien hellbeast; and monsters popping out of the bellies of the bears who ate the chocolate hellbeast, a la the movie Alien.

My one regret is that somehow I never ended up face-to-face with a mortally wounded Care Bear. I was waiting all game long for it to happen. I guess I should have dropped a hint to Shaughn, but I was hoping to surprise him. The sergeant putting a Care Bear out of its misery with a .45 automitic would truly have been a moment to cherish forever.
