Urlaneth

God(dess) of Man and Magic. Embodies the forces of Change and Balance, Mind and Adaptation. His/her areas of influence include the spheres of Magic, Science, Lore, Knowledge, and Communication.

The Spoked Wheel represents the connection between all forces and the application of dynamic change through adaptation and redirection of extant power. The hub of the wheel (through which all eight spokes pass) represents mind or intent, while the outer ring encompasses all of Lannent.

The name of Urlaneth was lost to the world during the Cataclysm when the god bound all of itself into a great ritual battery which would enable the connection between Ur-eth and Lannent to be re-forged again. Simply using the name of Urlaneth outside of the Oracular Temple can tap into some of that power and deplete it, perhaps even to the point of draining it beyond the capability to bridge the gap.
