Dogs Head Bar

A tavern and brothel in the Rat's Nest in Kardia City. The rooms are ostensibly for rent only with a "companion", and only for minutes to hours at a time. The stables out back have been walled in (badly) and the stalls contain bunks for a night. The smell indicates that they were not cleaned before being "renovated".

Out front is a barely recognizable dead dog's head, badly preserved by pitch. About one in 3 customers give it a solid whack and set it swinging violently as they pass through the doors.

The barkeep is a stocky, hunched man with a greasy apron and gnarled left hand. His bald head is crossed by a pattern of scars and a fresh scabbing razor lines) and his face is deeply lined and leathery, speaking of salt and sun.
