Blayze

A addictive drug, distilled from a red weed. Gives the user heightened awareness and wakefullness, but causes slight paranoia, restlessness, and a loss of discretion and fear. Blayze users are known place themselves in deadly peril, believing themselves to be more capable than they actually are.

Stat Block

Immediate Effects
+1D Agility, Heightened Senses (+1D to see, hear, smell, taste, etc.), Overconfident The eyes of the user gain a faint reddish luminescence. One Dose lasts approximately 10-Forte in Hours. When the drug has worn off, the recipient feels lethargic and senses feel muted. There is no die penalty for this provided that the use is occasional.
Addiction
Blayze is an addictive stimulant. After each [Forte] doses, make a Willpower roll, Ob 3 to avoid addiction. Continuous or frequent use may impose a -1D penalty to this roll (GM discretion). Once you are addicted to Blayze, you must have at least one dose every day (Willpower, Obstacle 5 to resist using) or go into Withdrawl. In addition, the user must take a double dose to obtain the same beneficial effects above, and you gain the "Addict" Trait.
Overdose
If the user takes [Forte] or more Doses in a day, they must make a Health roll, Ob 3 to avoid an overdose. The Obstacle increases by +1 for each dose above [Forte]. In the event of an overdose, the user's eyes leak tears of blood, and they are wracked with cramps and fever, suffering the effect of a Midi wound. This condition worsens over time as per the "Bleeding Out" rules.
Withdrawl
Day 1; Cramps and minor hallucinations, +1 Ob to all actions. You may "Shrug it Off" against this penalty. Day 2; Fever and Delusions, -1D to all actions. You may "Grit Your Teeth" against this penalty. Day 3; Suffer the same effects as an Overdose. If you recover from these effects (Which takes about 2 weeks), your body has successfully fought off the drug. Unfortunately, you must still make Willpower checks (Ob 5) if confronted with an opportunity to obtain and use Blayze until such time as the "Addict" trait is voted off by group consent.
