Meatloaf

The secret to a good meatloaf is:

  • Use Quaker Oatmeal (regular, not instant) instead of bread crumbs.
    • This acts as a binder and gives a nice nutty flavor and rich texture you just don't get with breadcrumbs
  • Pine Nuts.
    • Trust me
  • No ketchup. None. Seriously. If you're using a recipe that calls for ketchup, use tomato paste instead. And please don't put in on the finished product either, that's just nasty.
