The stock MIDIbrick hardware supports a standard Hitachi HD44780 type alphanumeric LCD. With slight modifications many different types of graphics LCDs may be connected. In general, these LCDs must contain controllers of their own (e.g. LC7980, T6963C). Drivers for both of the aforementioned chipsets have been written for the MIDIbrick hardware.
