My typical description of Biddeford is this:
Maine, as many know, is also known as Vacationland. Being Vacationland, Maine is unfortunately a very boring place if you want to do anything other than vacation, like, say, live there. Unfortunately, Biddeford is so boring and banal that it's not even good for vacations. Pathetic, isn't it?
Another way to look at it, which relates Biddeford to Worcester (where I live now) is this:
New York City is said to be the "city that never sleeps." Worcester is a city that goes to sleep at 7pm each night. Biddeford, on the other hand, was stillborn, or at least was born in a coma from which it has yet to awaken.
