Connect the Palm Pilot to the EZ-Kit Lite

This is insanely easy to do and will take you five minutes!

You will need:

  • 2 Male DB-9 connectors. (Radio Shack)
  • Soldering Iron, solder, wire
  • 1 Palm Pilot. One EZ-Kit Lite.

    To build:

  • Solder pin 5 of the first DB-9 to pin 5 of the other DB-9.
  • Solder pin 2 of the first DB-9 to pin 3 of the other DB-9.
  • Solder pin 3 of the first DB-9 to pin 2 of the other DB-9.

What now? Why obviously you download and run all of Noah and Brian's software and begin making music!

For extra credit, you can add a simple MIDI out interface to this, so that you can control both the EZ-Kit Lite, and the rest of your MIDI equipment at the same time from the Palm Pilot.
