v1.61, 5/12/99

The Toshiba Portege 3010CT is an extremely small, quite inexpensive, full-featured, and durable little notebook. The 3010CT and 3015CT are identical twins. The 3015CT is a retail package of the 3010CT and comes with a Windows software bundle. Apart from that, they are identical. This HOWTO will describe how I installed Debian GNU/Linux on a Portege 3015CT, including details of setting up XFree86, PCMCIA services, networking, sound, and APM. I will refer to the computer as the 3010 or the Portege throughout.
