Upgrade from stock Bontrager at purchase. Head about
too many chain suck problems; had LBS swap it out before I took bike home.
22T and 32T rings replaced with Truvativ (September 2003). Big
ring replaced with Truvativ Rockguard (September 2003). No more scars,
no more hanging up going over big logs or rocks... No more keeping up with
people on pavement or rail trail. |

Replaced and upgraded from PC-59 in May 2003. Snapped
stock PC-59 twice. Maybe PC-99 is made better? Stuck with SRAM because I
really like the quick link. I've been keeping this chain lubed with Pedro's
Ice Wax since putting it on. So far I like it, but it needs re-application
more frequently.. I think my chain is cleaner, though. |

sidewalls get torn up easily. |
