| A RABBIT WAN'T TO KNOW |
I was at a shop that sells Sanrio stuff and other Asian things. Just as I was about to leave I spotted this stationery set, made to look like a newspaper with the title: "The Parsleysagerosemaryand Times". |
Below the title, it says "THE HAPPY TOGETHER THE RABBIT'S STORY TIMES PAGE 1" and then: "A RABBIT WAN'T TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS.." Next, a 6 column layout with headlines, blocks of text, and graphics. |
The headings, subheadings, and much of the content of the articles are bits of song lyrics. |
A box to the left of the title says "A RABBIT'S STORY: If you' re worried about it we can shoot it at the studio" with a tiny bee and a tiny carrot in the box. |
The one to the right says "THE NATURAL: I have had my invitation to this world' s festival" with a faded rabbit character in the background. |
The graphics include cute bunnies, flowers, picket fences, and the occasional friendly bee, carrot, or teacup. They have bits of song lyrics in them also. |
This is stationery, so it comes with envelopes. While the paper is multicolored (but mostly a pink-ish peach), the envelopes are a light orange. |
The envelopes have a similar layout. Instead of A RABBIT WAN'T TO KNOW it says: "THE SNOW LAND'S A NYMPH FESTIVAL" for the "top story." The text is... an obituary, for Flip Wilson. |
