CHANGES
--------

2.1: Preliminary file playback (Osc B becomes file player)
2.2: File playback with pitcher overtakes Saw component of Osc B.
Independent Volume Controls for each oscillator.
2.3: Wavetable added to replace Osc B saw component.

THE WAVETABLE:

Oscillator B now differs greatly from Oscillator A. Oscillator A, as you know, can fade between a saw and square oscillator. Oscillator B now fades between a Square and "Something" Wavetable player. A Wavetable is a series of bytes played rapidly that sound like something. This Wavetable can still be a square wave, or a sine wave, or a 'something wave,' or a WAV file.

To change the Wavetable function of the "Something" part of Oscillator B, use the drop down box next to the sequence length. It will say "Saw" on first startup. You will see a bunch of predefined waveforms (sine, bell, rand1, etc.) and a spot for "File...". If you choose "File..." you will be presented with a File Selector box. Chose a WAVE file (16-bits only please!) and suddenly you will hear it play just like any other wavetable.

The "center pitch" of a Wavetable function is 50, with the Freq Mult of Osc B at 50%. The wavetable then extends to be 1/10 to 10x the speed in either direction.

The Wavetable function is not effected by Osc Sync or Portamento. However, the Square oscillator of Osc. B still is. Try mixing in a little Square wave on Osc B for some great effects!

NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE: To ONLY hear your wave file or wavetable function, make sure the "Squsomething" slider is all the way to the RIGHT for Osc. B.

INDEPENDENT VOLUME CONTROL:

By user request, Osc A and B can now be independently quieted, loudened, or muted. For example, to only hear the Square component of Osc A, turn down Osc B all the way (to the right), and move the Squsaw slider all the way to the left. To only hear a wave file, turn off Osc A and move the Squsomething slider all the way to the right.

BUGS:

* Strange behavior when opening non 16-bit, 44.1khz files. It'll still do "something," but maybe not what you expect. Experiment.

* If you open a bad file or a non-wave file, the wavetable will keep the filename in its memory but will play a simple Sine Wave instead without much feedback.

* Some wavetable functions play at different pitch rates than the computed Squ and Saw waves of Osc A. Experiment.
